I'm Abhikant Nirbhavane. I design enterprise software for dispute management, card controls, compliance workflows, and quoting. Regulated products, where somebody usually has to explain the decision afterward.
I came to UX from engineering. Computer Engineering first, then a master's in HCI. It means I start with the system instead of the screen. Where does the data break, and can the person using it still tell what happened.
At Fiserv I carry the product owner role alongside the design work on 360 Control, running story refinement with ten engineers. I build with AI too. Claude Code and Copilot turned a concept into a working HTML prototype that SMEs could test, and I designed the Disputes GPT intake pilot so an agent always sees the model's confidence and can overrule it.
Designer and embedded product owner on two of Fiserv's core fintech platforms. Disputes Workspace, where I designed the AI-assisted intake pilot, and 360 Control, the issuer administration console rewritten and shipped for Desjardins.
Only designer on the CPQ enterprise quoting platform. Ran the research myself, built components inside the existing design system, and cut quote time from 18 minutes to 10.
Clinical workflows for Banfield veterinary hospitals on web and iOS, and an A/B tested reading experience for children on Follett's Engage tablet app.
Workforce management interfaces and a configurable retail food safety platform, from the logs a frontline worker fills in to the KPI dashboards above them.
Agency work across healthcare, real estate, and retail. iOS apps, web apps, and brand identity for several clients at once, including onboarding for a fitness product.
